Miami State High School offers a ‘Bring Your Own Device’ (BYOD) program.
When purchasing a laptop, please ensure that the laptop can connect to a 5GHz network
The BYOD information booklet contains the specifications of devices and other information needed for students to access our network and run the required software to compliment their learning programs. It all contains the necessary
forms.
Many curriculum materials are stored on the school's server. Students have access to these files when at school and may copy these files to their laptop for use off the school site.
Students are invited to talk with IT support staff to have folder synchronisation set up on their laptops.
