​​​Student Code of Conduct

The Miami State High School Student Code of Conduct sets out the responsibilities and processes we use in our school to promote a productive, effective whole school approach to discipline. Its purpose is to facilitate high standards of behaviour from all in the school community.

Mobile Phone Policy

From Term 1 2024, all state school students must keep their mobile phones switched off and ‘away for the day’ during school hours from 'gate to gate'. The Miami SHS mobile phone policy: "Away for the Day" Gate to Gate can be found below.

Parent and Community Code of Conduct

As well as the student code of conduct, Miami SHS has a strict Parent and Community Code of Conduct which protects the wellbeing of every student, and that our staff have a safe working environment.
