About
The Miami High Aerospace and Aviation Excellence Program is for students passionate about air travel, airports and space. As an Aerospace Gateway to Industry certified school there will be many opportunities for industry experiences through being involved with Aviation Australia.
The Aerospace and Aviation Excellence Program fosters problem-solving, teamwork, hands-on tasks – including drone technologies, use of our two Boeing flight simulators, rocketry and paper remote control aircraft design. It aims to cultivate a global mindset and an understanding of the wide array of opportunities available in the Aerospace and Aviation field. These include airport-based careers, aircraft design and maintenance, defence force, airline cabin crew and pilot careers. Through an innovative curriculum, students are encouraged to reach their academic potential and become global citizens by incorporating a strong understanding of aeronautics and aerodynamics, air safety, airport operations, problem-solving, and effective communication.
