Miami State High School welcomes International students for short term and long term programs. Our host families and school will ensure your stay at Miami State High School on the Gold Coast is an enjoyable experience.
We have hosted hundreds of International students over the years and found that their stay has been a truly enjoyable one for all involved.
Queensland Government schools are coeducational and focus on eight Key learning Areas: English, Mathematics, Science, Health and Physical Education, Languages other than English, Studies of Society and Environment, Technology and the Arts.
Miami High is well equipped to support international students, providing experienced teaching staff including E.S.L teachers, an International Program Manager and Homestay Coordinator, extensive scientific laboratories and excellent technological resource centres, plus networked computers with internet access. Extensive sporting amenities are located here.
